They deserve themselves. Sadly, it'll probably be a success, boring, but a success.

I don't think a lot of super attractive people are using online dating services. Not to say that people who use them are ugly or anything like that, it's just that if you're *that* hot, you're probably not going to need to bother with a dating site, what with your high-paying, fun job and exciting social life. Seriously, though.

What do you think about the idea that people instinctively mate up with people who are on the same level in regards to physical appearance?

My husband is waaaaaay better looking than I am, so my personal experience says it's not true. But maybe my personality is just so awesome that it elevates me to his level. hahahaha.

Like my title said! Actually it's been my experience that it isn't that way at all. Reality is more like you and your hubby. A lot of good looking people I've known don't see themselves that way. I think the whole instinctive line is so much press BS to sell the site. More elitist crap. "Hey this is the new cool, and you're not if you're not doing/wearing/seeing part of it."

I'm sure your hubby isn't there because you're holding a gun to his head! I would guess that a man who has guts enough to put on a uniform, knows what he wants...you!

Step away from the laptop and go to bed TW!

LOL, it's only 8:35 pm here.

I think we do tend to gravitate toward people we feel match us. Not that it's ALWAYS that way, but doesn't it stand out when there's an obvious mismatch?

I know, too, that the fact that he's so much better looking tends to make me feel insecure. So I think maybe there's comfort and security in being matched on attractiveness.

I know my husband loves me, and maybe he doesn't see the mismatch, but it's definitely there. He could do a lot better on finding a physically attractive mate, but no one could ever love him more than I do.

I do agree with you on the website, though.

Like the Article said - another Studio 54.  But with less glitz.  Ho hum - shallow hal is still alive and kicking.

That would be a site that would be fun to mess with. Wouldn't it be great fun if you could send all the "hot" people new low ratings and put all the lowly mortals on instead.

This would definately be a great place for all those "men are so imtimidated by my beauty that I don't ever get asked out" women. ~puking
